Introduction

The UKCIP Adaptation Wizard is a tool to help you adapt to climate change.

It will take you through a 5-step process that will help you to assess your vulnerability to current climate and future climate change, identify options to address your key climate risks, and help you to develop a climate change adaptation strategy.

Start at Getting Started. Work steadily through the Wizard, answering the questions posed in each step, using the guiding principles and resources to inform your answers.

Download the notepad and keep a full record of your answers to all questions. This information will form the basis of your climate adaptation strategy. 

Check that you have completed each step properly by referring to the checklist at the end of the list of questions for each step before moving on to the next one. 

Useful resources for each step are listed in the left hand side of the screen. The resources masterlist and principles of good adaptation are available on the right hand side of the screen for each step.
