European spatial planning: adapting to climate events (ESPACE)

The focus of the ESPACE project was to promote awareness of the importance of adapting to climate change and to recommend that it is incorporated within spatial planning mechanisms at local, regional, national and European levels.

Creating climate adaptable settlements: Building resilience through adaptive planning is a free online course aimed at planning practitioners engaged in policy development and decision-making at a range of levels of government. The course recognises the need to employ a multi-disciplinary approach to climate change adaptation.
