Innovate UK (formerly known as the Technology Strategy Board), has published a new report on adapting buildings to climate change. Based on evidence from Innovate’s Design for Future Climate programme ‘The business case for adapting buildings to climate change: Niche or mainstream?’ is aimed at those working in building design, construction and associated policy and regulatory areas. Innovate UK has also launched a new online planning tool for business. Horizons provides a route to incorporating environmental and social factors into business planning. Horizons provides a step-by-step process, with objective-setting, 31 topic cards to select (including climate change), case studies to investigate and questions to stimulate discussion.
