LRAP/UKCIP National NI188 support event,
Austin Court, Birmingham

This event was intended to enable those authorities taking a lead in responding to NI188 to exchange experiences and discuss approaches to meeting the requirements of level 2. The programme included:
- A review of progress to date, particularly focussing on any issues arising from reporting using the self assessment matrix.
- The challenges at level 2 – detailed consideration of assessment criteria.
- Discussion of how UKCP09 may contribute to work on NI188.
It also provided an opportunity for participants to express their views on NI188 prior to consideration of the performance framework for the next round of LAAs.
