Richard Lamb, Training Manager
Richard joined UKCIP in 2006 and has over 10 years experience delivering training to both the public and private sectors.  Richard also has extensive project management skills, having delivered both large scale and national training programmes.

Richard is skilled in delivering the following UKCIP tools:

Pete Walton, Senior Trainer
Pete joined UKCIP in 2008 having previously taught environmental education for 16 years across a range of age groups. He is in the process of submitting his PhD thesis into strategies to support public understanding and engagement with climate change science. Since joining UKCIP, Pete has managed the Projections in Practice programme following the launch of UKCP09 and is currently working on the development of eLearning material to support the continued use of the projections in relation to the wider adaptation agenda.

Tom Wilson, Trainer
Tom joined UKCIP in 2009 having worked as a teacher, of English and Maths, for the last 4 years in the UK and abroad.  He was heavily involved in the Projections in Practice programme, delivering seminars and IT training across the country.

Tom is skilled in delivering the following UKCIP tools:

  • UKCP09 User Interface
  • Risk framework

Malcolm Chandler, Trainer
Malcolm is an experienced trainer and facilitator with many years experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors. He joined UKCIP in September 2009.

Before joining UKCIP Malcolm designed and delivered a wide range of courses including leadership and communications skills, IT and software skills, ecology and field-based skills, plus more creative areas such as website design and optimisation, and writing for the web. He is now involved in developing and delivering our UKCP09 User Interface training programme.

Malcolm’s excellent presentation skills and a personable approach make his teaching both stimulating and enjoyable.

Anthony Thompson, Trainer
Antony has been working for UKCIP since 2008, helping to organise and deliver its recent nationwide Projections in Practice programme. Making use of his Biological Sciences degree, he is able to clearly and effectively communicate a range of adaptation topics to audiences from diverse backgrounds.

Anthony is skilled in delivering the following UKCIP tools:
