Transforming Utility Conversion Points (TUCP) dissemination event, London
The TUCP project will hold a final dissemination event next month, aimed at stakeholders and researchers with an interest in promoting a resilient and sustainable national infrastructure system. This EPSRC-funded project (part of the ARCC network) has looked at interdependencies and efficiencies of infrastructure at points of energy conversion. The latest research findings on the potential for integrating critical infrastructure systems (water, heating, energy and transport) through multi-scale operationalisation of conversion points will be presented. Opportunities for compatible joined-up regulation and inter-utility adaptation will be highlighted and discussed.

Scotland’s Adaptation Conference, Edinburgh
This one-day event is intended to bring together adaptation stakeholders, to share knowledge of the adaptation initiatives underway in Scotland and to nurture new idea, links and networks. As well as a keynote presentation by the Paul Wheelhouse MSP, Minister for Environment and Climate Change, there will be parallel sessions to explore specific themes in more detail. The event is free to attend.

Low Carbon Futures dissemination event, London
This Low Carbon Futures event is for building professionals and policy makers with an interest in achieving well-adapted buildings capable of performing well in future climates. The aim of this EPSRC-funded research project, part of the ARCC network, has been to produce a practical design method for adapting existing and new buildings to future climates without the need for sophisticated statistical understanding by the designer.
