Coffee to cocoa

As temperatures rise, coffee growers in Nicaragua find that cocoa trees are better suited to the changing climate. Lower altitude land is being planted with cocoa for high-quality products while coffee plantations are moved to higher, cooler ground.

The Coffee and Climate initiative, whose adaptation manual we helped to develop, have produced a new video featuring the challenges of climate change for Brazilian coffee growers. They’ve also recently updated their C&C toolbox to include a Vietnamese language version.
