Climate change and health: toolkit for responses to infectious diseases

The Health Analysis and Information for Action system (HAIFA) has been developed in New Zealand to help communities handle the impact of climate change on some key infectious diseases. HAIFA includes disease projections for New Zealand for three greenhouse gas emission scenarios for 2015, 2040 and 2090; and also assessment tools for: water supply vulnerability, emerging disease risks; and for the impacts of climate change on food and water borne diseases.
