Adaptation Report being developed for NHS in England

Health and Wellbeing Boards are soon to be invited to contribute to a report on how the NHS in England is preparing for the impacts of climate change. The Department of Health, NHS England, Public Health England and NHS Property Services  have responsibility for compiling the report under the Adaptation Reporting Power (ARP) requirement of the Climate Change Act (2008). The final report will cover much of the public health service including NHS providers (e.g. trusts), Health and Wellbeing Boards and clinical commissioning groups, as well as providing an assessment of the overarching system.
